You only need a device that can access the Twitch website. Whether that be a phone, tablet or laptop, this can be done on any device that has access to a web browser.

- Log into your Twitch account, click on your user’s icon in the upper-right hand corner
- Click on Settings
- Select Disable Account
- Click on the purple disable button

1Log into your Twitch account, click on your user’s icon on the upper-right hand corner
Beforehand, it’s recommended that you also delete all of the key information from your account, such as payment methods or personal information. If you are a streamer, we also recommend informing your followers that you’re deleting your account.

You can find the Settings button near the bottom of the drop down menu.

The Disable Account button is at the bottom of the Settings screen and will be purple.

You have the choice of leaving optional feedback for Twitch to better understand why you’ve deleted your account.
